Judging from the preview for this week's preview it's going to be a character-building episode for Virgil of what he has to make do with when he doesn't have Thunderbird 2 to back him up.
That by it's own statement will be disappointing to see International Rescue's Flagship transporter taken out of the picture, but the flip-side to that is it shows what a man can do when he is forced to make do with what he has.
In any continuity of Thunderbirds of the Tracy family; Virgil is always shown to be the courageous member of the team that will do anything to get the job done. And I think in this week's episode will be no exception to the rule.
And one visual spectacle that will be witnessed is seeing Thunderbird 2 crash land in Trafalgar Square, London.
That said; this won't be the first time that she has crash-landed. Those that are young enough to remember the rough landing she made back at Tracy Island from Terror in New York will know that was due to being on fire from almost being shot down over the ocean.
From the Synopsis I know of this episode is that it's a group of anti-technology group sends out an EMP in London and because TB2 was in the air, it's not invulnerable to it.
If you've seen 2006's Superman Returns will know how far an EMP can stretch.
I'm looking forward to this. As Grandma Tracy said
It's not the gear that rescues people. It's the Tracy. - Grandma Tracy
