This had to be one of the best involvements of John Tracy; putting on equal pairing with his character-building in EOS only a few episodes prior to this story.
While said previous story was gripping and made for good television it was him that was the rescue subject whereas this time it was role-reversal.
Seeing Thunderbird 5 used as a rescue vehicle and deploying the space-elevator as a means of fishing the Cryus weather station out of the atmosphere so that it wouldn't fall back down into the Hurricane below it was genius on the writers' behalf.
As I said in my review which you can see below this; they used every team member and resource available to them.
John Tracy is quickly becoming one of the star players of this series as his role is more greatly developed and in-depth when compared to his counterpart from 1965 who was only used as a means of a communications relay officer.
This episode was easily a contender for Episode of the season
Covering the 1st Thunderbird Series in 50 years with the Build up 'Before the Storm' and After the Storm.
