Has it really been a decade this masterpiece came out?

I did wonder if enough time had passed to get the '95 Stallone movie had left the public's awareness to make another Theatrical attempt at Judge Dredd?  I think when you attach someone like Karl Urban to a project you will get your money's worth and then some.

Consider how well he pulled-off playing Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy in Star Trek you know he would take this seriously.
