REEL FEATURES SEASON 13 TICKET 8
It's time to feel the need, the need - For Speed! 33 years since this Iconic Aviation Movie took to the skies it has been loved by millions of fans for decades. So when the news that the long-awaited was finally gracing the Big-screen for 2020 I felt the need to sit down and review one of my favourite movies from my pre-teens. I couldn't tell you what year I originally saw Top Gun, but I can tell you that I saw it on TV in the 90s.
This high-octane, wise-cracking flick was something that most kids looked up to seeing this larger than life character of Maverick making things look so easy as a pilot and as a guy in how he carried himself. But that said, Tom Cruise has always had that natural charisma to make his characters both likable and something to aspire to. When he's conversing with McGillis' "Charlie" in the movie in the inverted explanation scene where he keeps his composure and describing how he was able to perform the inversion and extending his "communication" to foreign-relations, lol. I kept this review as strictly brief and on-point because I didn't think there was much else to cover than the detail I went into with this. One could make the argument that I could've done the same with The Lost World back in May. I half agree. I wanted to get so much covered and 20 minutes was required for that. With Top Gun I would have just been padding the review had I gone that route. So I hope you enjoy and find this review informative and entertaining.

A new milestone to be celebrated. Happy 33rd anniversary and I am giving my best wishes to all of you. I wish that everything will be good for the following year and all of the test and the problems that will come will not be that hard to solve. I know that in the end there will be more victories and there will be more celebration. A celebration that we will all love and people will be so proud of the achievements and victories that this movie will achieve.
