I think this is going to be one of those occasions where I cannot believe a comic predicted a disagreement/drama issue between a Wrestling icon that most are fed up with seeing that won't take the hint against a former wrestling superstar that got worked over almost as bad as Bret Hart in some respect, that fans wish to see return because he was one of the few remaining reasons that gave WWE any credibility.
The fact that a DarkWing Duck issue foreshadowed an issue between Hulk Hogan & CM Punk over a debate of NHL Hockey is just bizarre in it's own right.
There's an article that can be read here The way I see it; it's Hogan desperate attempt to remain relevant in the modern age when his time in the sun has long passed. Furthermore; to my understanding Hogan knows little to nothing about Hockey. He goes and mentions Punk by name first on twitter, and CM Punk being the guy he is won't respond unless mentioned or given a motivation to respond. And he did what CM Punk does best in verbal altercations: calls people out on their non-sense. I didn't realise that Captain John Cooper was from the future and humanity's last hope against the machines. Kudos if you get the reference. I can see it now: Hulk Hogan in Terminator: The Ice Captain's name he got wrong. or words to that effect, lol. I could add something to what Punk had to say about a guy whose about as relevant and popular as the idea of a Sonic Boom sequel, but he already did it for me.

I have to give it to JDF. Another impressive episode featuring Tommy Oliver against another iconic fighting legend in Ryu from Street Fighter.
I will be one to openly admit that I am of the original Power Rangers from the early 90's when JDF debuted as the original Green Power Ranger that would subsequently go onto to be the White Ranger, then the Red Zeo Ranger, Red Turbo Ranger and then the Black Dino Ranger.
The thing I am always impressed with is how youthful and in shape Jason is. Most other men his age are either slowing down or retired from physical competition of any kind of sport.
But due to his years of physical and mental discipline as a martial-artist (of which I cannot even begin to Fathom how disciplined he is) he looks and moves more like a man in his late 20's to early 30's. Very quick paced, agile and strong. Even though setups like this are choreographed, the choreographers went to a lot of detail to make this look as organic as possible, fictitious super powers and dark forces aside you could believe looking at this that the Green Ranger had an uphill task in taking on a Street Fighter legend who is a formidable opponent in his own right even without the powers from the Morphing grid. I love the attention to detail with the wardrobe as the Ryu costume is almost off the screen of the original arcade games and Tommy's Green Ranger outfit almost looks it has an Iron Man Vibe with a little of Sam Flynn's suit from Tron Legacy. That was the thing that bothered from the original Power Ranger series is when you'd see Tommy in the American footage of the series, his shield looked unconvincing and unremarkable with the cloth variation. Yet, when it would cut to the ZyuRanger footage, voila, he has something much more credible and convincing. Here, I am glad that the Shield looks like it could protect him or anyone else for that matter from a dark power blast from Ryu. This also goes for the rest of the suit which has had a similar principle employed onto it where it looks like Armour and not just a spandex suit (gotta love the 90's). I was very entertained by it and it's definitely on-par with his fight as the White Ranger against Scorpion. The Cinematography is just Grade A Awesome all the way and I like that Bat in the Sun actually go to the effort of making these fantasy matchups happen for fans that have wanted to see dream matches like this. May the Power protect you.
wow. and I thought Channel 4's standards couldn't sink any lower.
What I saw with this interview was Robert trying to keep the interview on task about promoting the Avengers: Age of Ultron. And yet throughout the interview, Robert kept having to subtly say politely through facial expressions and verbal suggestions that the interviewer keep to the subject at hand.
If you've been sober for years from drugs chances are you're not going to want to be reminded of it when you'd rather have people focus on your current projects and successes. I applaud Robert for the way he conducted himself in the interview and the way he exited politely saying: "this is bulls**t! I'm done!" Now, just for context, he did not say those exact words, I am merely paraphrasing. Anyone else would gone off like a loose cannon and give the press something to print and gossip about them in a poor light. Well, they'll talk about someone in a poor light, but Robert's not the one they'll be panning for the lack of professional courtesy nor demeanor. Krishnan Guru-Murthy kept going off subject when he should have been asking questions relevant to age of Ultron and Downey Jnr's work and prep work for the movie. And judging by the number of dislikes on the YT Video (at the time of typing this it stands at 2,452) really shows what fans and other viewers think of the professional conduct of the interviewer. And people wonder why Channel 4 gets talked about in a poor light?
Mr.RepZion has to have the patience of a Saint for putting up with such an asinine argument like this. Fossils are a hoax???
I sat through this 8 minute video feeling like my intelligence had been insulted to even merely suggest that Paleontology has been a con for the last few hundred years. Take a jar of Spackle and turn into a Brachiosaurus??? Is she kidding me? Is she f***ing kidding me???? Y'know, I could go all Jim Cornette on this, but I'm not gonna do that. I am not going to waste any further time and given this person any more credence. That said; she shouldn't have any to begin with for making such a preposterous statement about Paleontology. Leave your comments below and what you think of this. I'm done! One could argue that Roman Reigns was not made to look strong enough considering he's not in next Sunday's WWE Undisputed Championship situation.
That said, it's been a long time since Orton has had any title shot to speak of and it's been even longer since he was dethroned as Champion at WrestleMania 30. Making him a face again was just a natural move as his last heel run was just such a watered down version of the previous heel reigns for Orton that it just didn't spark any conviction nor plausability. If anything; all he became was a whiny and less charismatic version of heel Chris Jericho. And that in of itself is something I would to keep 500 feet away from. Naomi doing a heel turn is very unexpected and a little disappointing as I find she has the potential to be a leading Face diva of the WWE that could replace AJ as the architype/face of the Divas division. Because let's face it, having the Bellas be the faces of the Division is effectively saying "we're comfortable with mediocrity and low quality/standards". They might be beautiful women, but that's where the good qualities end. The Bellas offer nothing to the product other than a few athletic barbie dolls that couldn't make it as reality tv stars. Gotta love AJ Lee for that, lol. And with Lesnar gone from the Title picture for the foreseeable (a fact I'm very pleased about) it means some credibility back to the Undisputed Championship. I might not like Rollins, the character, but the athlete I have much respect for. Worked hard and clawed for everything he's got and his cashing in at Mania just echoed Edge's cash ins whenever he saw the Champion at the time was compromised. All that will be complete is he denies Orton another title shot if he defeats Orton next Sunday by going "screw you guys. I'm going home. No title shot for you." and the Eric Cartman shtick will be complete. I compare with Eric Cartman because he whines like said character, lol. That'll do this post entry. Good night, From the Knight |
