So Universal wants a "Monster Cinematic Universe" and starts with with a misunderstanding of the greatest Vampire in history. My problem stems from this is a kind of betrayal of the character, in that he isn't meant to be this hard ass who beats bitches down in the style of say The Incredible Hulk, but rather a lefario who strikes from the shadows. I guess as cheesy as it sounds "He's a lover not a fighter!" I guess the director played way too much Lords of Shadow while making this movie.
If this wasn't called "DRACULA: Untold" I'd forgive all of it, but it bares a name that is iconic and deviating away from what he's known for will cause nit-picky bitches like me to have their cornflakes pissed in!
