This warms my heart each Christmas and it shows that a good romantic and tender Christmas song can still be done without injecting a song with way too much suggestive material which I have seen happen far too often down the years.
Also, it was pleasant to hear a song that attempted to become a Christmas #1 whilst being a Christmas song. I grant that Band Aid 30 did that last year, but that version is nothing compared to the 1984 original where it had more meaning and merit as opposed to the more commercial intent with 20 & 30 in the last decade. Just saying.....
