Now, fast forward to today in 2015 and I am as amazed and excited for this new series just as I was for the original.
Here's the trailer that got released today.
The Tracy Brothers themselves are extremely well rendered and animated. Kinda reminds me of the attention to detail that Gerry Anderson's New Captain Scarlet had a decade ago.
Now whether the characters are motion-captured or just very well animated, that aspect is very impressive so far.
I'm not overtly keen on FAB1 having the ability to fly once more. (I honestly thought we were going to bid farewell to that absurd concept from "that movie".
If that was John Tracy's voice when the line uttered "International Rescue; we have a situation" then so far the vocal talent based upon that little piece is promising.
I couldn't help but notice when the countdown was spoken it sounded VERY similar to Peter Dyneley's portrayal of Jeff Tracy. Either it was his recording or just a very good sound-a-like.
From what I have seen so far a lot of love seems to have been put into this. I enjoyed the feeling of a more tense, suspenseful danger factor. That said, this is 2015 and shows have gotten somewhat darker since the original Thunderbirds and I like the suspense here.
I cannot wait for April 15, 2015.
THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO, AGAIN!
